WILLIAMSON CO. -- IDOT is warning drivers of lane reductions along Interstate 57 in Williamson County.
Beginning at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, I-57 southbound will be reduced to one lane from south of Marion to the Johnson County line. Crews will be patching the pavement. The lane reduction will run from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. each day for approximately one week.
Once work in the southbound lanes is complete, crews will move to the northbound lanes. That nighttime work is also expected to last a week.
IDOT says minor delays are expected, and drivers should be aware of workers and construction equipment near the open lane of traffic.
