MARION -- The Wildcats were able to pull off the upset and beat the Rams 49-45, Friday night.

Marion was in control most of the game taking an eight point lead at half and led 34-23 with less than six minutes to go in the game. But the Rams battled back under the guidance of senior guard Ty'Ril Tremble who helped Mt.Vernon get back into the game and trail by three with two minutes to go. But Marion was able to close the door on the Mt. Vernon comeback and pick up the win on senior night.
