CARBONDALE--The Centralia Orphans used a big second quarter to build a 12-point halftime lead and cruise to a 56-44 win a Carbondale Friday night.

The Orphans led by as many 16 in the fourth before settling for the win.

Centralia improves to 14-12, 5-4 in the South 7. Carbondale falls to 6-18, 1-8 in the conference.
