SIU Drops To 2-8

MURRAY, KY-- SIU and Murray State were locked in a three point ballgame at the half, but the second half belonged to the Racers.  

Murray led by as many as 16 before eventually picking up the 73-65 win, dropping the Salukis to 2-8 on the season.  

It's the fourth straight loss for SIU, who was led by Desmar Jackson's 28 points.

After the game, SIU coach Barry Hinson criticized his players calling them "mama's boys" and saying their performance was "awful."
