PINCKNEYVILLE -- Pinckneyville survived a double overtime thriller to win the River-to-River Mississippi title with a 54-52 win over Nashville Friday night in Pinckneyville.

The Panthers led 24-23 at halftime but it was the Hornets on top down the stretch. Nashville had a five-point advantage with three minutes left to play before Pinckneyville tied it at the end of regulation.

The Panthers outscored the Hornets in the second overtime to seal the 54-52 win.
