man dumps dog at shelter in a cage full of water

Man dumps dog @ Marion Shelter in water

A man caught on video surveillance dumping his dog off. The man dumped the dog off in a cage that was full of freezing water overnight. The dog stood in this freezing water over night. Please if anyone knows who this man is needs to call the police. This is animal cruelty and against the law to dump an animal.

From Marion Shelter
He dumped the dog no call nothing just drove up unloaded the dog who was very upset and would not let you get in the pen with her. The pen he put her in was standing full of water she got in a muddy mess. So she sat in mud and water in the cold all night long. Barking and whimpering. I do not know who he is or what he thinks he was doing. Leaving a dog in standing water that is so upset you can not touch is not right. And dumping is against the law. I have the whole thing on video. Debby Choate If anyone can identify the man in this photo, please contact Debby Choate at rechoate@aol.com or 964-1462. Thank you.

On the same day that Florida State Senator Mike Fasano intorduced the Animal Abuse Registry Bill, he also introduced a first-of-its-kind Domestic Violence Against Family Pets Bill that would allow a court to protect any animal against domestic abuse.
