Funeral Arrangements: Wendell Hilliard

Services are set for a Lake of Egypt man found dead after wandering away from his home.

Visitation for Wendell Hilliard will be held Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Blue Funeral Home in Marion. His funeral will follow.

Crews found Hilliard's body yesterday afternoon about a half mile from his property.

The 82-year-old, who suffered from dementia, disappeared from his home on Nielson Crossing Road sometime between Tuesday night and early yesterday morning.

He was not wearing a winter coat or hat. The Williamson County Coroner says Hilliard died of hypothermia.
