Zeigler Family Thankful To Be Living

FRANKLIN COUNTY- A Franklin County family is thankful to be alive after their home was destroyed by an early morning fire.

It took 23 firefighters to put out the blaze at a home on Baggott Street in Zeigler.

Departments from Zeigler, Royalton and West Frankfort responded shortly after 7:30 Thursday morning.

Everyone inside when the fire started got out safely.

Fire officials say that includes at least one adult and two children.

The family is receiving aid from the American Red Cross.

There is no word on what started the fire.
