Habitat for Humanity: Giving Back

Play Video
WILLIAMSOM COUNTY- A Williamson County family will have a place to call home thanks to John A. Logan College.

Students and staff have spent the past four weeks building a Habitat for Humanity home.

Tuesday the class dismantled the house.

They will then move it to Creal Springs next week where it will be
re-assembed for a family.

Instructors say the project is good experience for students learning construction and it's very rewarding.

Instructor Mike Demattei says, "They get a good feeling of well being out of it, knowing they're going to help someone out."

This is the 14th home the class at John A. Logan has built for Habitat for Humanity.
