State: Stores Sold Booze to Minors

Four local businesses have been cited for selling booze to minors.

Bill's Liquors in Marion

Arnold's in Royalton

East Main Market in West Frankfort

West Frankfort Gas

All failed to check the age of the buyer.

The Illinois Liquor Commission tested 30 businesses in Franklin and Williamson County in October.

Throughout the state the Commission found 91 percent of businesses in Illinois passed and refused to serve underage customers.
