Talking Politics: Campaign Finance Reform

WSIL TV— The October Veto Session saw the Illinois General Assembly approve a campaign finance reform bill and reinstate MAP grants. But did lawmakers actually do any good? Republicans and reform advocates say the campaign finance bill should have gone further. Also, there’s no new money to pay for the financial aid program.

Dr. John Jackson of Southern Illinois University’s Paul Simon Public Policy Institute offers his opinions in “Talking Politics.”
