COULTERVILLE -- A deadly weekend shocks the small town of Coulterville. Authorities say a local man shot and killed two people before turning the gun on himself.
Christine Stapleton lives nearby the rural Coulterville home and still can't believe what happened.
"I called my sister and she said it's terrible what happened to your neighbors, and I said what happened to my neighbors," said Stapleton.
Authorities say Stapleton's neighbor, 35 year old Brian Morrison, shot and killed his in-laws, 52 year old Stanley Garbs and 46 year old Tamara Carroll, before turning the gun on himself. The three bodies were found lying in the driveway.

"Oh I was devastated, it was horrible, I couldn't believe it," said Stapleton.
The Randolph County Sheriff's Department says Morrison was arguing with his wife late Saturday night. She called her parents to pick up her and her two kids. That's when investigators say the fight turned deadly.
"My husband hunted with him and they went to the boat shop together," said Beth Kane, who's husband was best friends with Morrison.
Morrison lived in the small town all his life and residents say most people in town knew him well. They never believed this was something he was capable of.
"Very nice guy, very sweet, give the shirt off your back, silly at times, but he was a real nice guy," said Kane.
Morrison's wife and two kids were not injured, the investigation is still ongoing.
