Two Car Wreck in Saline County
The accident happened around 11:30 Thursday morning.
The Saline County Sheriff's Department says a truck driven by Dolores Lawrence, 80, of Eldorado and a car driven by Donald Smith, 76, of Metropolis collided at the intersection of Route 13 and Harco Road.
Lawrence had to be extricated from the truck. She was flown to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN for treatment of her injuries.
Smith was taken to Harrisburg Medical Center with minor injuries.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
Saline County Sheriff's Department says citations are pending.
