The state of Illinois and Microsoft have partnered for a new program called Elevate America. It offers vouchers for free online training for software programs like Microsoft Office and Windows Vista. You can find more information at illinoisworknet.com . There are also a number of subscription websites that offer online training in a variety of unique software titles. Subscription sites like lynda.com and vtc.com offer an a la carte style of learning with videos and practice files available for a monthly fee.
