The World's Best Trapshooters are in Randolph County

RANDOLPH COUNTY- It's used for everything from weddings to workshops but for the next two weeks the World Shooting and Recreation Complex is all about trapshooting.

Thousand of competitors and spectators are in Sparta for this years events.

This is the 4th year for the competition In Southern Illinois.
The Events run through August 15th.

Volunteer David Bath says everything is set up and ready to go, "The top shooters in the world are here right now."

The Complex is no small venue it covering 1,600 hundred acres.
That includes 120 trap fields 1,000 campsites a full service events center and a vendor mall featuring exhibitors.
