Hardin County Shooting Spree

Play Video
HARDIN COUNTY- Two Hardin men are in jail accused of going on a drunken shooting spree in Rosiclare and Elizabethtown.
It happened in the early Sunday morning. Authorities say the men shot at buildings and no injuries have been reported.

Hardin county sheriff Tom Siener says the 2 suspects are no strangers to crime.

He believes the buildings these men shot at were not just random they were thought-out targets.

Randall Warren and Dwayne Bruce of Rosiclare are no strangers to prison and after yesterdays shooting spree they could be going back. It all started at this home on Rosiclare road, Investigators
say both men left the house and fired shots at a Rosiclare police officers house just three homes down.

Then police say the men went to Elizabethtown and shot at a Hardin county Sherrif's deputy's residence. Hardin County Sheriff Tom Siener says, "As the officers went there and responded to that
call, my dispatcher reported that he saw the vehicle with the two suspects in it behind the sheriffs office
in an alley firing shots in the alley way."

The two men were then chased by police and forced down a rural road. Investigators say the men wrecked a car on a tree stump and then ran away on foot firing at officers the whole time.
Leaving many neighbors flustered.

The men escaped from police and then disappeared for hours until a concerned resident called the
Sherrifs office.

The two men are being held at the Saline County jail for unlawful possesion of firearms by felons and reckless discharge of a firearm.
