Consumer Alert: News Three's Recall Round-Up
WSIL-TV-Several government agencies are announcing recalls involving some potentially dangerous products. From motorcycles to children's toys. A topical acne cream made by CSI USA incorporated is being recalled.
The 10-percent benzoyl peroxide cream is sold under the "D-G" name at Dollar General "Equate" at Wal-Mart and Kroger's store brand at all Kroger stores. The Food & Drug administration says these acne creams contain bacteria that poses a risk of infection.
The C-P-S-C says 13-thousand 2007-2008 Honda Off-Road Competition motorcycles are unsafe for use. The weld on the right side of the swing arm can fail, causing the rider to lose control and crash.
Cobra Electronics is recalling thousands of children's two-way radios with rechargeable batteries. The batteries can leak causing a chemical burn hazard.
The product was sold at Toys-R-Us stores nationwide during August and September 2008.
The JA-RU company is recalling 18-thousand My Little Train Classics Toy Trains
The parts can detach- posing a choking hazard.
The toy trains were sold nation-wide for two dollars between March 2007 and August 2008.
All of the companies mentioned offer either refunds, repairs, or replacements.
