Marion Man Pleads Guilty in Deadly Crash

MARION -- A Marion man has pleaded guilty to his role in a deadly traffic accident.

Quentin Arnold, 37, pleaded guilty Monday to failure to report an accident involving a death.

Police said Arnold was driving drunk May 15, 2013 when he hit and killed a 40-year-old McLeansboro man walking along Route 37 just north of Crites Road. Arnold was arrested a few hours later.

A sentencing hearing is set for Sept. 19. Two other counts against Arnold were dismissed.
