Man Fined $15k in Poaching Case

SMITHLAND, KY - A Western Kentucky man has lost his hunting rights for ten years, and has been fined $15,000 after entering an Alford plea in a poaching case.

David Ray, 34 of Smithland entered the plea to 36 counts of illegal taking or possessing of wildlife on Tuesday. The plea required Riley to
acknowledge there is enough evidence to convict him, but he does not
admit guilt.

Police say they found two turkeys and 34 deer heads in Ray's home.
