UNION COUNTY -- Work has begun on two major road construction projects in Union County.

The Union County Highway Department says crews are doing reconstruction work on Skyline Drive between Old U.S. Route 51 and Jamestown Road.

The project was delayed one week due to weather. It's expected to take two to three months to complete.

Work has also begun on the replacement of the bridge on Fisher Lane near Dongola. That project will take approximately two months to complete.

Motorists are urged to use caution while driving in these areas and watch for workers and equipment in the road.
