HARRISBURG -- The Harrisburg Bulldogs are headed to the football state semifinals for the first time since 2000, thanks to a 41-7 beating of Alton Marquette Saturday.

Justin Younger ran for two touchdowns and caught a third to lead the Bulldogs' offensive attack.

Harrisburg's defense was just as good, holding the Explorers scoreless until the fourth quarter when the game was already out of reach. Marquette had only been held to less than 42 twice all season before Saturday.

After playing six straight home games, the Bulldogs will now have to hit the road in the semis to face Rochester next Saturday at 3:00.
