NubAbility Camp Back in Du Quoin

By WSIL Reporter

DU QUOIN -- Dozens of kids living with limb differences are enjoying a special camp in Southern Illinois.

More than 70 kids and their families from all across the countryare taking part in the Nubabilitiy Athletics Foundation All Sports Camp. It started Wednesday and runs through Saturday in Du Quoin.
All the kids have some type of limb loss. They're spending time taking part in a variety of athletic activities and hearing from inspirational speakers. Clay Dyer was born without legs and only a partial arm. But that didn't stop him from becoming a professional fisherman.
"I've never given up, and I wanted to show these campers. Despite whatever they may be facing, there's always hope of living their dream and making their dream, you know, into reality," Dyer said.
This is the second year the camp has been in Du Quoin. The inaugural camp was held in Greenville in 2012.
