NASHVILLE -- The Carlyle Indians hit five home runs to beat Du Quoin 7-4 for the Nashville 2A Baseball Sectional Championship.

Carlyle jumped out to a 4-0 lead, only to watch Du Quoin score four in the bottom of the fourth to tie the game four. Carlyle promptly untied it in the top of the fifth on Kyle Jackson's leadoff homer.

Matt Hilmes hit a two-run shot in the seventh for insurance. It was Hilmes' second homer of the day.

Carlyle advances to Monday's 2A Supersectional in Sauget where the Indians will face Teutopolis.
