Carbondale Rallies To Claim Regional Title

METROPOLIS -- Carbondale's girls basketball team rallied back in the second half to beat Herrin on Thursday night.

The Terriers trailed by 11 points in the fourth quarter when Herrin's Tori Johnson fouled out with 5:33 to go.

Carbondale climbed back in the game and pulled out the 67-59 victory to claim the regional title. Carbondale's McKena Miller finished with 27 points. Herrin's Tori Johnson finished with 24 points.
