EAST PEORIA -- Poor weather delayed Nashville's third place softball game against Peru St. Bede until Sunday morning at 11 a.m.

Heavy rain and lightning postponed games at the EastSide Centre for more than five hours Saturday afternoon. The IHSA eventually decided to push back the Class 2A games until Sunday. IHSA spokesman Matt Troha said it's the first time in history the event will host games on Sunday.

The Class 1A title game between Miledgeville and Cumberland was called final after more than five hours of delays. The Lady Missiles were declared victorious, 5-4, after only five innings of play.
