Nashville Falls Short In 3 Overtimes

 PEORIA -- Nashville's boys basketball team competed for a state championship on Saturday against Bloomington Central Catholic. 

The Nashville Hornets led 24-20 at halftime and owned a 10 point lead in the second half. However, Bloomington rallied back to tie the game up 50-50. 

The game ended up going into three overtimes as Bloomington pulled out the 76-62 win. 

Nashville finished in second place and takes home its first state trophy since 1978.
