Free Dental Exams for Kids

By Loreto Cruz III

WILLIAMSON COUNTY-- Dental checkups are a requirement for students entering certain grades. Some children lined up to get that help on Saturday.

The Dental Safari Company offered cleanings, state approved examinations and fluoride treatments to children from two-years old to high school seniors. All of that help was free of charge.

Dental Hygienist Emily Fischer said she enjoys helping kids, especially through events like this.

"We love teeth," she said," We love people getting their health taken care of; that's what's important. We're just here to make it a little but easier to reach out to"

Dental Safari treats kids all year long, and often provides care at local schools.
