AJ Rallies to Beat Murphysboro

After being blanked 21-0 midway into the 3rd quarter, the AJ Wildcats roared back to win their home opener, 22-21.

The first half was dominated by Murphysboro who went up 14-0 thanks to their second touchdown of the half with less than 10 seconds remaining in the 2nd quarter.

The Wildcats took the ball to open the second half and fumbled away the snap on their second play which led to Murphysboro's third touchdown, putting the Red Devils up 21-0.

But the Wildcats would come storming back, scoring three unanswered touchdowns in the final 18-minutes to move to 2-0 on the season.
