Low-Cost Physicals For Students

By WSIL Reporter

FRANKLIN COUNTY  --  Back to school time will be here before you know it, and a few local clinics are helping students get prepared.

Franklin Hospital and Morthland College Health Services  are each holding low-cost school and sports physicals.  The cost is $10 for the exam.
Doctors say to bring immunization records, the physical form, and a photo ID of the parent or guardian of the student.
The state requires physicals for kids entering kindergarten, sixth and ninth grades, but doctors say you may want to get them more frequently than that.
Appointments aren't required, but the staff says scheduling one may cut down on wait time.
The low-cost physicals run from now until September 30.
