Domestic Dispute Leads to Police Pursuit and Arson Charges

WILLIAMSON CO.- A local woman is being held behind bars without bond. She now faces residential arson charges along with felony traffic charges.

Saturday afternoon, Linda C. Ambrose was allegedly in a domestic dispute in Carbondale. Ambrose left before law enforcement arrived at the scene. Soon after, a Williamson County Deputy located Ambrose at her residence in rural Colp. The deputy realized the house was on fire, and he saw Ambrose flee from the scene.

The Williamson County Deputy and three assisting units from the Hurst Police Department chased Ambrose, pursuing her until around 4:50 p.m., when they finally caught Ambrose and arrested her. She is being held without bond on felony traffic charges and residential arson charges.

Officials are currently investigating the fire.
