ILLINOIS -- Voters will get to weigh in on birth control this November.

Governor Pat Quinn signed a ballot question Sunday that will ask people if they think prescription plans should be required to cover birth control.

The question is non-binding. However, Quinn feels its crucial after the recent Supreme Court Ruling.

Illinois does already require insurance plans to cover contraceptive drugs for women.

Democratic supporters say it will make the current law stronger, but Republicans say it's a gimmick.
