ST. PETERSBURG, FL -- We head back to Florida for this week's Friday Fail story where a man was arrested for drunk dialing 911 for tax advice.

James Mahoney was arrested in St. Petersburg earlier this month after calling 911.

The 51-year-old apparently called the emergency line and told the dispatcher he wanted to check the status of his tax return.

Mahoney also admitted to them that he was quote, "messed up."

When deputies arrived he was still on the phone with the dispatcher.

He was charged with making a false 911 call and sentenced to two days in jail.

So for drunk-dialing 911 to check on his tax returns, James Mahoney is this week's Friday Fail.
