Friday Fail: Bank Robber's Browser History Fail
WEYMOUTH, MA -- You've heard that anything you post on the internet can come back to haunt you, but that also applies to the things you search for. Not clearing a browser history landed this week's Friday Fail behind bars.
Earlier this month three people were arrested in connection with a bank robbery in Weymouth, Massachusetts.
Police recognized Sarah McLoud on the surveillance footage and went to her house.
There officers found her and Robert Owens along with the money and a computer.
Apparently she'd never heard of the "clear browser history" function.
The recent searches included: "What happens if you rob a bank," and "If you're going to rob a bank."
McLoud and Owens face robbery and drug charges.
Police say Murphy drove the getaway vehicle.
For searching the internet for tips on robbing banks, and then NOT clearing browser history, these bank robbers are today's Friday Fail.
