Teenager Saves 40 Pound Fish

By WSIL Reporter

ROYALTON, OH -- This is a fish tale about the one that tried to get away, but a teenager in Ohio has video proof that the fish didn't.

Jake Sawyer, 16, saved a 40 pound carp from a flooded street in his neighborhood.  The fish apparently made its way to the street after a nearby pond overflowed Monday night.

Jake says the carp struggled as he scooped it up.  After a quick photo opp, he returned the fish to the pond.

He says his arms started falling asleep as he carried the massive fish back to where it belonged.
