West Frankfort's S.C.A.R.E. Association Gives Back To Charity
WEST FRANKFORT -- The Southern Illinois S.C.A.R.E. Association has been featuring haunted attractions for 11 years, giving most of their proceeds to charity.
This weekend many people may be looking for a place to get their scare on. The S.C.A.R.E. Association in West Frankfort features The Nightmare Show every Friday and Saturday night in October.
Founder Tara Fasol-Chambers says Halloween is their biggest time of the year but they host charity events all year around.
"The longer that we did it and people knew that we were going to be here for charity, we started hearing of different needs," explains Fasol-Chambers. "And that just triggered us to become a 365 days a year chairty organization."
Doors open at 7p.m. Admission is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids.
The haunted house is located on the corner of Ida and Main Streets in West Frankfort.
