A dollar doesn't go as far as it used to, at least not at Wendy's. The fast-food chain is doing away with its 99-cent value menu.

Instead of a variety of menu items priced at just under a dollar, Wendy's is offering options called "Right Price Right Size. Those items range in price from $0.99 to $1.99.

Wendy's was the last of the big fast-food chains to hold on to the $1 pricing model.

Burger King and McDonald's have already inched their prices past the $1 price point.

Double Trouble

It was a pair of special births even though neither happened New Year's Day. However, the circumstances are still worth noting.

A pair of 19-year-old identical twins ended up giving birth just two hours apart on the last day of 2012.

Aimee and Ashlee Nelson didn't plan their babies to come into the world around the same time. Their due dates were actually about a week apart.

The babies, Aiden and Donavyn, had different plans.

Aimee's son Donavyn was born just after noon New Year's Eve and Ashlee's son, Aiden arrived around 2 p.m.

It can also be personalized by using kids' own recorded screaming and roaring. The app is now available at the Apple app store.
