Woman Arrested in Wal-Mart Beating

SIKESTON, MO -- A Missouri man beaten in a Wal-Mart parking lot has died from his injuries.

John Sharber, 57, was found outside of a Cape Girardeau hospital. He had been dropped off by himself. His wife told police her husband had been going to Wal-Mart, and Sikeston police later found his vehicle in the Sikeston Wal-Mart parking lot. 
 
Sharber was then transported to a hospital in St. Louis. 
 
Police have now arrested Savannah Davis, 27, of Sikeston. She was found in Blytheville, Arkansas, and is charged with armed criminal action and second degree murder.
 
Davis is waiting for extradition back to Missouri.
