WILLIAMSON COUNTY- Community members in Williamson County are getting the chance to preserve their history.

Carterville Heritage Museum is under development. On Saturday, residents from Carterville, Cambria and Crainville brought in memorabilia and photos of their heritage specifically for the museum.

The museum is set to open early this spring right next to the new Veternans' Memorial in Carterville.

Organizer, Jennifer Spence, says she will still accept memorabilia at the Carterville Water Office if you missed the chance to drop off your items on Saturday.
