Poplar Bluff Police Investigating Fake Checks

POPLAR BLUFF -- Police in Poplar Bluff are investigating fake checks being passed at local businesses.

Investigators say four returned checks worth more than $3,300 have been reported so far. The checks were drawn on a fictitious business account and were made payable to "Eric Creason" and "James Chesser."

Police have released surveillance images of two men in connection with the checks.
