WSIL TV -- A heads up for drivers on Monday, a part of highway 37 will be shut down at the intersection of Route 149 in West Frankfort. Starting at midnight Sunday, the south span of 37 will be closed to all traffic and won't reopen until Sunday the 15h. Then the North span will shut down until around June 22nd.

IDOT says contractors will be removing and replacing the entire intersection. 149 will remain open, but flaggers may be directing traffic at times.

And in Williamson County, IDOT will begin construction to widen Route 13 Monday evening. Drivers should expect lane closures from Greenbriar Road to Main Street in Crainville from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. Traffic will be shifted toward the outside shoulder.

The night time closures should last three to four weeks.
