By Sam Smith

HARRISBURG - Volunteers are in Harrisburg cleaning up storm damaged homes.

Operation Blessing helped coordinate waves of volunteers into the destroyed neighborhoods, with 700 people cleaning in the morning.

Officials expect to have more than 1,000 volunteers Saturday. They are encouraging people of all skills to get involved.

Operation Blessing is still coordinating clean up trips for other days.

More volunteers are needed to help remove debris and repair roofs.

Crews will be sent out at 8:00 am and 1:00 pm daily from the Foundation Building at SIC
