Meth Lab Found in Herrin Home

HERRIN -- Two Herrin residents are facing charges after police found an active meth lab in their home.

Robert W. Walker, 31, and Amanda L. Walker, 24, were arrested Tuesday evening for aggravated participation in meth manufacturing.

Officers were called to the home on North 16th Street to check on three small children who were being exposed to a meth lab. The kids, ages 1, 3 and 4, were taken to Herrin Hospital then placed in the custody of the Department of Children and Family Services.

Robert and Amanda Walker were taken to the Williamson County Jail pending a court appearance.
