It happened Sept. 30, 2012 at the intersection of South University and West College Streets in Carbondale.

Prosecutors say Christopher Kelley, 19, drove through the intersection, hit a pedestrian, then left the scene. Witnesses were able to give officers a description of Kelley's vehicle.

Kelley pled guilty Tuesday to leaving the scene of a traffic crash involving a personal injury and was sentenced to three years in prison.
