WSIL -- A Kentucky man has pleaded guilty to robbing a Harrisburg bank.

Casey A. Heflin, 28, of Boaz, Kentucky, entered the guilty plea Monday in U.S. District Court in East St. Louis. Heflin was indicted in March for the October 2013 robbery of Old National Bank in Harrisburg.

As part of his plea, Heflin admitted pointing a loaded gun at a bank teller and demanding she fill plastic shopping bags with money from the cash drawer. More than $4,000 was taken. Heflin was arrested the next day in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

A sentencing hearing is set for September 24. Heflin faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

A second man arrested for the bank robbery, Shawn Gregory, 38, of Harrisburg, is facing armed robbery and drug charges in Saline County. A status hearing in his case is set for July 17.
