Franklin County Woman Sentenced on Meth Charge

WSIL -- A Franklin County woman has been sentenced to more than 5 years in prison for making meth.

Samantha J. Plumlee, 28, of Christopher, was sentenced Thursday in U.S. District Court. She had previously pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to manufacture meth.

Prosecutors said the crime occurred in 2012 and 2013 in Franklin, Jackson, Perry and Williamson counties. Plumlee was accused of supplying pseudoephedrine to be used in making meth.

In addition to 70 months in prison, Plumlee was also sentenced to 3 years supervised release and a $250 fine.

Two co-defendants have pleaded guilty and are awaiting sentencing.
