WILLIAMSON COUNTY-- Marion Zumba lovers found a way to share their love of dance this weekend.

The Extreme Sports Center hosted an event, giving the community a chance to celebrate together. They say it's a great way to stay fit.

"It's exercise in disguise, where you don't feel like you're actually exercising. It's for all sorts of people; any age, every age group. I just love it," Tina Avery enthused.

"I've been following Tina for 3 years and I just turned 60, but I'm still pumping it up!" Frances Zeller added.

The last Saturday of every July became "National Dance Day” back in 2010, following the popularity of dance programs on television. It promotes healthy, active lifestyles.

A guest instructor from Kentucky led Saturday morning's class. They regularly offer Zumba programs at the facility. Your first class is free.
