Auto Fest Draws Hundreds to Region
HARRISBURG -- Folks from across the region gathered to check out some classic cars in Harrisburg.
Nearly 200 of them were on display at the annual Memory Lane Auto Festival at the Saline County Fairgrounds. There was also entertainment and a swap meet. Organizers say the event is always full of fun and camaraderie, and attracts visitors to Southern Illinois.
"We're bringing people in," says Brad Crick of Shawnee Classic Iron. "We're putting people into Saline County that's usually not here. Just to show them a little bit of what the Shawnee is about. It's an annual event so if you missed it this year, we'll be here next year."
This was the fourh year for the Memory Lane Auto Fest in Harrisburg.
