JONESBORO -- A Union County man has been sentenced to three years in prison for stalking his estranged wife.

Terry W. Pulliam, 29, of Anna, pleaded guilty Tuesday to one count of aggravated stalking, a class 3 felony.

Pulliam was arrested in January after an investigation by the Jonesboro Police Department.

Union County State's Attorney Tyler Edmonds says Pulliam admitted to repeatedly calling and texting his estranged wife and hitting her with a broken table leg.

In addition to his three-year prison term, Pulliam was sentenced to four years mandatory supervised release. Court documents show five other counts against Pulliam, including domestic battery and violating an order of protection, were dismissed.
