Alto Vineyard Celebrates Annual Colorfest
ALTO PASS -- Southern Illinois is always beautiful this time of year. To celebrate some of the autumn beauty, Union County put on its annual Colorfest.
At Alto Vineyards on Saturday, there was live music, food, and of course, plenty of wine tasting. Organizers say this is an opportunity to reconnect with old friends, relax and enjoy the scenery of the Shawnee National Forest.
"We really love to take Colorfest as an opportunity to draw tourists in and draw-in that crowd that might not necessarily know too much of about Southern Illinois," says Matt McGee, Alto Vineyard's Sale Room Associate.
There were several other Colorfest activities going on in different parts of Union County as well. Alto Vineyards will continue the event on Sunday from 12 p.m. - 7 p.m.
