6 Arrested in Western Kentucky Drug Investigation

MCCRACKEN CO. -- Six people have been arrested as part of a drug investigation in western Kentucky.

Officers served a search warrant late Wednesday night at a home on Beiderman Street in Paducah. Investigators say they found heroin packaged for sale, along with marijuana, hydrocodone, scales, syringes and cash.

Four people in the home - Taylor Cothran, Brittany Irvan, Matthew Markowski and Michael Yeomans - were taken into custody.

Early Thursday, authorities also arrested Harold "Tyler" Fletcher and his girlfriend, Katherine Morris, in connection with the investigation.

All except Morris are being charged with engaging in organizing crime for participating in drug trafficking.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says more arrests are likely.
